This project included a new website for Aris Hotel in Paleochora, Crete, as well as the setting up of its professional Instagram account. It stands out for its artistic essence and the sources of inspiration, which were generously extracted from the business itself. We were also assigned the art direction of a professional photoshoot and videography on site and on various locations, pointed out by the client.
We were focused on composing the elements that would properly and efficiently depict the hotel’s philosophy which is based on a laid back, in touch with nature, holistic approach. The goal was to infuse the essence of a bohemian yet professional business into its digital presence. A mixture of typography styles brings depth into the design, while the bespoke, sketch-like illustrations faded in the back in order to bring out the nostalgic quality of the hotel. Smooth transitions in photographic pops, create a seamless scrolling experience, while the content is carefully selected and structured in such a way as to facilitate the user experience. Earthy colors in typography complement the artistic photographs and are inspired by the hotel’s natural environment and eco-approach.
