Being assigned to find the right name for a new brand is always really exciting for us. Making suggestions to a client about their business’s name, requires diligence, research and the right amount of inspiration of where to look for one.
IndexK was the chosen name for a not so new, active and busy architectural office based in Chania, Crete, owned by architect-engineer Stelios Krommydakis. The brief required a name, a logo and an entire brand identity that would accurately represent the office’s values, creative process and finishing result. Signature forms and materials used were taken into consideration. The brand is based upon a bold typographic identity. The logo is created by tangential volumes which are curved on the edge and represent the nature, the forward thinking and the dynamism of this architectural office in their field. The brand identity’s geometric lines reflect the lines of the architectural design.
